Call for papers

All exhibitors at Wood Products & Technology 2026 are welcome to submit seminar proposals. The fair features two open stages with knowledge-raising talks and case studies from leading industry voices.

2026 stages

Trä Talks – stage for shorter, focused conversations.
Trä Torget – stage for longer sessions, workshops, and in-depth discussions.

Focus areas

Wood Products & Technology has four focus areas: resource efficiency, circular transition, technology, and urban development. Descriptions of each focus area are available here ».

Admission criteria

  • You are an exhibitor at Wood Products & Technology 2026.
  • The topic is timely.
  • Ideally, a company and its customer present together, sharing up-to-date solutions and lessons learned. We welcome customer cases, market trends, inspirational talks, and good examples that energize our visitors.
  • Sales pitches are not accepted—tell a story about a case, a vision, or a solution instead.

Practical information

  • Each session is approximately 20 minutes.
  • On stage: standing table and standard AV, including PA system and screen/projector for presentations.
  • Presentation format: preferably PowerPoint or Keynote.
  • Presentations are not sent in advance; hand them to the technician in the speaker lounge no later than 2 hours before your session starts. More information will be sent to selected contributions.
  • Technicians are on site throughout the stage program.
  • The stage program is displayed on digital screens.
  • Your session will be published on the Wood Products & Technology website.

Seminar proposal details

  • Title – relevant, meaningful, and self-contained.
  • Session description – this full description will also be published in the online program. Explain the topic’s timeliness and spark interest.
  • Speakers – name, title, company, and contact details for all speakers.
  • Speaker photo – high resolution.
  • Bio – optional.

Timeline

  • 31 March – submission deadline.
  • 10 April – latest date for decision on acceptance.
  • 16 April – latest date for web program publication.
  • 25–27 August 2026 – Wood Products & Technology takes place.

Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. If you already know your topic, please register early as slots may be filled before the final deadline.

Selection

We receive many applications and cannot offer a slot to everyone. To ensure high quality and relevance, we make a careful selection based on our criteria and the overall purpose of the program.
