Description
Drying at the highest efficiency level
As a pioneer in the timber industry, Mühlböck wood drying systems have been proving for over 40 years how resource conservation in timber drying is possible at the highest level. Thanks to the development of innovative heat recovery systems, the Mühlböck range has reached the highest level of energy efficiency. This enables considerable energy, CO2 and resource savings in timber drying that far exceed those of conventional systems. Whether in drying kilns, progressive kilns or belt dryers for drying chips and wood chips, Mühlböck's energy-efficient drying systems can achieve savings in heat consumption of up to 50% - with a payback period of less than one year to a maximum of three years.
The latest development from Mühlböck is the so-called drying kiln upgrade, in which ageing drying kilns can be brought up to the latest state of the art quickly and cost-effectively by upgrading them with Mühlböck's heat recovery technology. The result: higher performance of the existing kiln as well as faster drying times and more throughput - all while reusing many of the existing elements, such as the housing, gates and foundation. The new drying kiln upgrade from Mühlböck is therefore one of the fastest and most resource-saving solutions in timber drying to achieve optimum energy savings.
More and more well-known wood processors in Scandinavia are relying on the energy-efficient belt dryer type 1003 PREMIUM from Mühlböck. With its integrated heat recovery and special system options for operation in colder regions, Mühlböck now equips a large number of renowned wood industry companies on the Scandinavian market with efficient drying technology.
