EXHBITOR | DO2 (Dolbeau Oxygène) is one of this year’s new exhibitors at Wood Products & Technology. The Canada-based company develops automated packaging solutions for the wood industry and has systems installed at production facilities worldwide. With a strong focus on capacity and reliability, they are now entering the Nordic market through the exhibition in Gothenburg. We spoke with Mathieu Laflamme, Sales Director at DO2 Group.

This is your first time exhibiting at Wood Products & Technology – why did you decide to join the event this year?

– Scandinavians’ countries is where we are investing a lot of time and capital for the growth of the distribution of our Automatic wrapper. The main event in the region as clearly been identified has yours. Stategiclly, a large amount of wood manufacturers in Scandinavia has been upgrading their facilities over the last 10 years and are now having a high units count coming out of their planermill. Our DO2 Rapid Wrapper is the fastest in the world. In that case we usually favor consolidating in 1 single outfeed line operating for all material produced.

What would you like visitors to discover about DO2 (Dolbeau Oxygène) when they visit your stand?

– With over 90 of our Rapid Wrapper systems installed worldwide, this will be the main equipement we will be promoting at the expo.

How do your solutions contribute to greater efficiency and competitiveness in wood processing?

– It is the fastest and the most relaible fully automatic wraping system in the market. It also work perfectly with the standard north american Woven wrap (that many scandanivian manufacturer are now using) or the european blown film wraps.

What are you hoping to gain from meeting the Nordic wood industry during the exhibition days?

– By promoting our Automatic system in those markets we are expecting a very positive respond from the different manufacturers.
